Eb/D clarinet
Eb and D Boehm clarinets use almost the same kind of accessories, including mouthpieces, reeds, ligatures, swabs, tools, and maintenance equipment.
But be aware, that their barrels have different bore diameters, which can make a huge difference in the way the instrument will tune. Not all barrels are properly marked and Eb and D clarinet barrels have the same length.
Not many people know that German A / Bb clarinet reeds fit Eb / D Boehm clarinet mouthpieces and vice versa. It greatly expands the range from which to choose. It's worth a try. .... Read more
